The Garden is a series of abstract representational acrylic paintings. Bev Gegen collects flowers from her perennial garden and frequents the City Market to create the best floral compositions centered around color. Creating loose bouquets, she captures the essence of these floral beauties against bright, colorful grounds and textures. These smaller and more intimate creations are a very personal and meditative part of her painting practice.
